Disney/Marvel has officially announced that Avengers: Endgame will be back in select theatres this coming Friday, 28th June.

Included in the re-release are a few new things to tempt you back into the cinema.

This new cut of the movie will feature a previously “unfinished deleted scene” and will also be preceded by an intro from the directors the Russo Brothers.

You’ll also get a “special sneak peek” at Spider-man: Far from home. What this will amount to is anyone’s guess. An extended trailer? A scene from the final movie? Tom Holland sitting in a chair telling you spoilers? All of these are possible.

If all the above wasn’t enough, there’s a rather fetching piece of artwork being given away in poster form.

Seemingly showing Tony Starks infinity gauntlet, that both he and the Hulk wield during the climax of the movie, and bearing the tag line “We love you 3000” this is a direct thank you from Marvel to the fans, although only “available in select theatres and until supplies run out”.

And why the re-release you ask? Well, at the time of writing Endgame is around $25 million shy of knocking Avatar off the number one box office of all time, so one last push can’t hurt.

So check your local cinema and go see Earths mightiest heroes kick Thanos’ ass once again from Friday.
