Niantic, the people behind mega-mobile hit Pokémon Go, have announced that their next title, based on the mega-wizarding franchise, will release in the US and UK this Fri, 21st June.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is expected to follow a similar tack as the aforementioned Poké-hit, and sees you wandering the streets performing tasks and hunting magical creatures.
The news comes from a press conference in LA, where it’s said that other countries will start to get the game in the coming weeks and months, and teased a Pokémon Go Fest-style event for potentially later in the summer.
It’s looking to be a busy summer for fans of mobile AR games, with Dragon Quest and Minecraft also due to release their takes on the genre. Will you be taking to the streets or putting your feet up?
